Yes we do! We believe it’s never too late to find your inner Picasso!
Check out our adult programs here.
We think the language of art is universal, but most of our classes are taught in English.
Most Definitely! From PA/PD Day to March Break, and Summer
Day Camp, we have wonderful programs for school aged kids
designed to keep your kids creatively busy and engaged.

Street parking is available along Yonge Street, and the neighbouring streets.
That said, it is always wise to come early to make sure you find a spot.
The CLAP Studio tuition fee includes all art supplies, unless otherwise
specified in the program details. For regular season programs
and Summer Camps(excluding workshops), each artist will
receive a CLAP T-shirt and an individual art supply kit for
basic art supplies such as pencil, eraser, ruler, markers, paint brushes,
scissors, and a paint palette on their first visit.
We are happy to replenish the basic supplies in the kit when needed.
Let’s hear it for the TTC! And the best part – we’re just a 10 minute walk from the Lawrence Subway Station.
At CLAP Studios most of our courses fall into our four semesters – Spring,
Summer, Fall, Winter. With short breaks between semesters, an average course is 10 weeks long.
Definitely bring your creative spirit, your awesome smile and a fun
attitude!
Absolutely! All of our supplies are either available in store or online for
purchase. If it’s not in stock, we can have it for you in store for pick up
within 14 days.
Unfortunately, our Studio is not 100% accessible. Our main floor is
accessible but does not have a washroom available on that floor. As well,
our facility does not have an elevator which means our second floor is not
wheelchair accessible.
CLAP Studio programs for kids are specifically designed by progressive
educators to support the Ontario School Curriculum. Our small class
sizes allow each teacher to provide students with lots of one-on-one
attention and guidance. CLAP Studio teachers are also multi-lingual,
with the ability to offer classes in English, Mandarin, French and Spanish.
And we also have a unique Portfolio Building program, for those in highschool
looking for a competitive edge in their application to the best Art
Colleges and Universities around the world.
Let’s be honest – art making is fun but often messy! For that reason, we suggest
students come dressed in comfortable clothing they don’t mind getting a
possible stain (or two!) on. We do provide aprons, and even a personalized one
for each student in full-term programs, but best to come prepared.
Snacks and art-making aren’t always the perfect mix. For that reason, we don’t
recommend bringing snacks into the classroom.
Students are welcome to bring a Nut Free snack to munch on
outside the classroom before or after class.
For day camps, please send students with a Nut Free snack as we
typically take a 10-15 minute snack break half way through each 3-hour class.
Since we take great care in planning and building our courses, there are no
make-up classes for any missed class. We are also unable to offer a discount,
refund or credit for classes not attended. That said, at CLAP Studio we want to
ensure all projects are completed and will do our very best to help each student
catch up during the next class. However, if a student misses two consecutive
classes or more, it’s important to be aware that they may not be able to catch up
and leave the course with a finished work of art.
